When initially purchasing a car insurance policy, the insurance provider should automatically send you proof of insurance through the mail. Most companies will also email you printable insurance cards, so you can have physical proof of insurance in your car as soon as possible.

If you have valid insurance and have not received proof of insurance or lost it, contact your insurance provider’s customer service line. You may also be able to log in to your account online, where you can download and print your insurance cards.

If you don’t have a valid insurance policy and plan to drive a car, you need to buy insurance! You’re in the right place. We have all the information you need to make smart insurance decisions, and you can compare quotes from multiple companies to ensure you’re getting the best deal.
